Based at Greencroft Industrial Park in Annfield Plain, County Durham, Corespec Ltd has been operating at the same site since it’s inception in 1998. From humble beginnings with one core winding machine and one core cutting machine (for slitting down long cores to smaller length cores as a secondary process) all within one unit the company has grown to its current manufacturing set up of four core winding machines and two core cutting machines as well as increasing it’s manufacturing / storage footprint with a second unit on the same premises. The company provides customers all over the U.K in various industries, particularly the Plastic Film Extrusion, Automotive, Carpets & Flooring, Textiles, Paper & Labels and Artificial Grass sectors.

The company has a strong belief in building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers and support services with the directors playing an active role in the day to day running of the business alongside a very committed and hard-working management team and workforce. The directors / management team alone has over 75 years of experience in core manufacturing between them and over 100 years within the manufacturing sector when previous roles are considered. This experience and our philosophy of doing everything we can to ensure that our customers requirements are met “on time in full” means we pride ourselves on these relationships. Given our location just a few miles from the A1 motorway as well as external warehousing facilities in North Tyneside, close to the A19, means we can provide timely and efficient deliveries to all areas of the U.K in partnership with a select group of trusted transport partners.

As an Environmentally and Ethically aware business we only purchase our raw materials from strictly approved suppliers within the U.K / E.U not only ensuring that all employment, environmental and trading laws are adhered to but it also gives us full visibility of our supply chain.
